The case was registered after the arrest of Parveen, a member of the Pakistan-based terrorist organization.
The case was re-registered after the NIA took over its investigation on April 5, 2020, and has already filed a charge sheet against Parveen under various sections of the stringent UA (P) Act.
The spokesperson said, “Parveen was a college student and was admitted to cyberspace by the Pakistan-based cadre of Lashkar.

On 15 April, the NIA arrested school teacher Altaf Ahmed Rather in his case in his residence in the Bandipora district of North Kashmir.
Officials said that although Rathar’s name has not been mentioned in the charge sheet, the investigation into the case is still going on.
