Terrorists attack CRPF team in Zainpora, no casualties – search operation underway: Jammu Kashmir.
Terrorists attacked the Naka party of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Zainpora, in the Shopian district of South Kashmir.
No one has been injured in this attack. However, a search operation has been launched to nab the terrorists.
According to the information, the terrorists attacked the Naka party of the 178th Battalion of CRPF posted at Zainpora, in Shopian district of South Kashmir.
However, no one was injured in this attack. The terrorists fled from the spot after this attack.
Security forces along with police and CRPF have launched a search operation to nab the terrorists. Other details are awaited.
Police constable injured in firing from service rifle under suspicious circumstances in Shopian district of South Kashmir.
A Jammu and Kashmir Police constable was injured when his own service rifle opened fire under suspicious circumstances in the Shopian district of South Kashmir.
The policeman has been admitted to Shopian District Hospital and his condition is said to be stable.
According to the information received from the police, the incident took place when the police personnel was going to the Kathollan Keller area in their vehicle for their routine practice.
The injured police constable has been identified as Sajjad Ahmed Malla.
Police said the police team in the department’s van was on its way to the Kathollan Kesar area to practice firing.
Sajjad was also sitting in the same room. His service rifle was in his hand. Suddenly a bullet fired from his rifle which went into his leg.
Soon after this incident, Sajjad was taken to the District Hospital Shopian in the same vehicle.
The doctors started his treatment immediately and the bullet in the leg was removed. Doctors say that the condition of constable Sajjad is stable.
