Udaipur Killing: Case may be registered in UAPA, NIA suspects involvement of terrorist groups, agency may take over the investigation.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) may take over the investigation of the heinous murder of Taylor Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur on Tuesday.

An official said that prima facie it seems to be a terrorist incident.

According to the news agency, the investigation of the case is likely to be handed over to the NIA after registering the case under the strict provisions of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

Udaipur Killing: In view of the seriousness of the matter, the Union Home Ministry sent a team of NIA to Udaipur.

According to the report of the leading news agency, a Deputy Inspector General rank officer is also included in the NIA team.

According to sources, the NIA team will take a decision on the next course of action after an investigation on the spot.

The source said that the NIA suspects that some terrorist groups may be involved in the incident.

Sources said the killers may have links with terrorist groups. NIA team has been sent to Udaipur to investigate these things.

At the same time, according to the report of the news agency, a Deputy Inspector General (DIG) rank officer is also included in the NIA team.

The source told the media, who did not wish to be named, that the move comes following an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

It is noteworthy that a barbaric act has been committed in the name of Islam in Udaipur, Rajasthan on Tuesday.

About 10 days ago, Kanhaiyalal, who posted on internet media in support of Nupur Sharma, was murdered by Mohammad Riyaz and Ghaus Mohammad after entering his shop on Tuesday afternoon.

Both of them first stabbed his body with sharp weapons and then killed him by slitting his neck.

After this, the killers released a laughing video, in which the Prime Minister was also threatened. Weapons stained with blood were also shown in it.

In the video, Nupur Sharma is also indirectly threatened by the killers. Police arrested both of them late in the evening from Rajsamand. There is outrage among the people regarding this incident.

In view of the tension in the district, a large number of police forces have been deployed. Section-144 has been imposed in the state while the internet has been suspended.
