ICC Released ODI Rankings: Indian Team At Third Position

ICC released ODI rankings, on which position the India and Pakistan team is after a clean sweep.

In the ODI rankings released by the ICC, the Indian team has managed to retain its third position.

After India’s 3-0 series win over Zimbabwe on Monday, they are now at number three in the rankings with 111 points.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s team also had a clean sweep against the Netherlands and they are at number four after India in the rankings.

However, this victory of Pakistan has definitely reduced their difference of points from India. Now only 4 points are left between the two teams.

New Zealand’s team is still at number one with 124 points. New Zealand recently defeated West Indies 2-1 in the ODI series, while England is at number two with 119 points.

India will get a chance to improve its ranking when the South African team comes to India. This series will start on 6th October. Whereas Pakistan will play against Australia after the T20 World Cup.

New Zealand has a chance to improve their rankings as they play a 3-match series against Australia. This series will be played in the month of September.

This series can also prove to be fatal for New Zealand. If New Zealand loses this series against Australia, then they may have to lose their top position.

On the other hand, if Australia wins this series, then it will be difficult for Pakistan.

Australia will get one more chance to improve their ranking as the Zimbabwe team is about to tour Australia which will be a great opportunity for Kangaroo.
