Three jawans of Jharkhand jaguars martyred, two injured in IED blast incident: IED Blast in West Singhbhum. 

Three Jharkhand jaguar soldiers were killed in an IED blast in a mountainous area in Lanji village of Toklo police station area in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.

District police and CRPF personnel were running the search operation. During this period, Naxalites blasted ID. During this, three soldiers were martyred while two jawans were injured. The jawans are being airlifted to Ranchi.

According to the information, this incident happened on Thursday morning.

During the month, more than seventy IEDs and cylinder bombs from different areas of the district were recovered by the District Police and CRPF by carrying out operations.

There were several arrests as well. In view of this, it was speculated that the Naxalites are trying to carry out a major incident.

An encounter has also taken place between the police and the Naxalites in Lanji of the Tokalo police station area in the past. In which the injured jawan was airlifted and sent to Ranchi for treatment.

A search operation is being conducted in the area after the blast. Here, after the latest incident, police personnel including Kolhan division DIG Rajiv Ranjan Singh, SP Ajay Linda left for the spot.

The injured Jharkhand Jaguar’s third jawan did not die on the spot. He later succumbed. The deceased jawan is named Devendra Kumar Pandit.

Devendra Pandit was a resident of Badghana Bindi village of Boarijor block of Godda district. It is on the border of the Lalmatia police station area. About 55 km from the district headquarters.
