Encounter in Karnataka: Most Wanted Naxalite Vikram Gowda Killed | ANF’s Major Success.
Most wanted Naxalite leader Vikram Gowda was killed in an encounter with Karnataka’s Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) in Udupi’s Kibale forest. Gowda, with over 50 cases across Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, was on the run for 20 years. A Rs 5 lakh reward had been announced for his capture. Three of his associates managed to escape during the operation. Karnataka Home Minister G.
