France Joins U.S. in Expressing Concern Over Chinese Maneuvers

The Taiwanese Defense Ministry confirmed it is closely monitoring these activities. A day earlier, Taiwan had reported the presence of 38 Chinese aircraft, 28 of which crossed the median line into Taiwan’s central and southwestern ADIZ.

France also voiced concern in its 2025 national strategic review, highlighting that China’s increasing military operations near Taiwan are contributing to regional instability.

According to Liberty Times, the Taiwanese Air Force placed additional Patriot systems near a river east of Songshan Airport. China has reportedly reacted sharply to these developments, viewing Taiwan’s defense preparations as a provocation.
