AB de Villiers equals Chris Gayle’s biggest record, 4 sixes with 4 fours unbeaten 55 runs. RCB played their third match of the league on Monday against Mumbai Indians and won the super over in it.

RCB have won two of the three matches so far. RCB had a very good start in this match and Aaron Finch and Devadatta Padikkal put together an 81-run partnership for the first wicket, giving the team a strong start. Finch was then dismissed for 52 off 35 balls.

At number three came Virat Kohli, who was again out for three after showing the flop show and AB de Villiers came in to bat at the fourth position. Abby teamed up with Devdutt as soon as he arrived, further boosting the team’s score.

After this, when the match reached the super over, AB along with Virat came to bat and gave the team victory. AB received the Player of the Match title for his superb batting. This was the 21st time in IPL that he achieved this feat.

Prior to this, Chris Gayle has won the Player of the Match title in IPL 21 times. Now AB Chris Gayle has come on par and once he achieves this feat, he will become the batsman to win the Player of the Match title most times in IPL.

AB and Gayle are jointly in first place in the IPL title for the most number of times, while Rohit Sharma is in second place and he has done it 18 times. David Warner and MS Dhoni have achieved this feat 17–17 times so far.
