Absconding SPO arrested with three helpers of Jaish-e-Mohammed, arms and ammunition recovered: Jammu Kashmir.
The police arrested three helpers of Jaish-e-Mohammed militant outfits, including the SPO of the Jammu and Kashmir police.
SPO Altaf Hussain Butt was absconding for the past two months, from the Chadura area of South Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday morning.
According to the police, security forces and police jointly conducted a search operation in the Chadura area of Budgam district on Sunday morning after they got information about the hidden terrorists.
The 53rd battalion of the Army’s Rashtriya Rifles, the 181st Battalion of the CRPF, and the police have arrested SPO Altaf Hussain.
He was now a terrorist, who fled from Hayatpora and Chadura two months before during a joint search operation.
Apart from this, three helpers of Jaish-e-Mohammed living in Pulwama have also been successful in capturing.
The three arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization helpers have been identified as Shabbir Ahmed Butt, Jamshid Marge, and Zahid Dar.
A large amount of arms and ammunition has been recovered from his possession.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the police took two days of remand of the Resistance Front (TRF) militants, who were caught with weapons in a car in the Narwal area of the city.

An AK 56 rifle, two magazines, 60 AK rounds, a pistol, two magazines, and 14 rounds were recovered from the police by both the terrorists.
Police lawyers argued that the terrorists are yet to be questioned to demolish the entire network, so they should be given on police remand.
After hearing the arguments of the police, the court sent the terrorists on 10 days police remand. The terrorists have been kept in the lockup of Trikuta Nagar Police Station.
