Afghanistan: 28 People Killed, 47 Injured In Bomb Blasts

Afghanistan: 28 people killed, 47 injured in bombings in the last three days. Incidents of violence have not stopped in Afghanistan.

In the last three days, 28 people have died in the bomb blast here, while 47 others were injured. Nine people were killed and 20 were injured in the first fatal blast in Kabul on Sunday.

The news agency Xinhua has given a statement citing a statement by Home Minister Masood Andarabi. On Sunday, a police van was attacked in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province, injuring three policemen.

A car bomb exploded in Baharak district of Badakhshan province on Sunday morning, injuring four people including a police officer.

A day earlier, four people were killed in a roadside bomb blast in Balkh province, while on December 18, a rickshaw bomb in Ghazni province killed 15 people.

During this time 20 people were also injured. According to the Home Ministry, there have been a total of 37 attacks and 510 explosions in Afghanistan in the last three months.

About 500 civilians have died and more than 1,050 others have been injured during this period.

According to the report of the UN Assistance Mission of Afghanistan (UNAMA) released in October, a total of 2,117 civilians died and 3,822 were injured from 1 January to 30 September this year.

Here, nine people were killed and fifteen people were injured in a car bomb blast at Spin Calle Square in the PD5 area in the capital Kabul.

The bombings were targeted by MP Haji Khan Muhammad Wardak here. At that time, the MP was not in his car. Rockets were attacked at nine locations in Kabul.

A day earlier in Balkh province, a regional leader was tried to kill him in a bombing. Three vehicles caught fire here. The cause of the fire is not clear.

With some recent major incidents in Kabul, it is feared that incidents may increase further. Recently, a senior Afghan government official, Mehboobullah Mahebi, and his assistant were shot and killed.
