Agnipath Recruitment Scheme: Prime Minister Modi will hold a meeting with the chiefs of the three services today, know what will be the agenda.

The chiefs of the three wings will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi separately on Tuesday, amid the politics over the Agnipath recruitment scheme in the army.

Official sources told the news agencies that during these meetings, the chiefs of the three services would brief Prime Minister Modi about the Agnipath recruitment scheme.

It may be mentioned that the Agneepath scheme was launched last week.

Unveiling the Agneepath scheme in the presence of the chiefs of the three services, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on June 14 said that it is a transformative initiative that will give a youth profile to the armed forces.

The Union Cabinet had also approved this scheme on 14 June. The jawans selected under this scheme will be called Agniveers.

However, on the very next day, protests started against it.

At the same time, the Central Government has announced several support measures in the last few days to allay the apprehensions among the youth regarding this new recruitment scheme in the Armed Forces.

Counting the benefits of the scheme, the government is also consistently saying that it is a transformational reform in the recruitment policy of the armed forces and provides a unique opportunity for the youth to serve the country and contribute to nation-building.

Meanwhile, the army has released the notification for recruitment under the Agneepath scheme.

For this, it is mandatory for the candidates to register online on the website of Army Recruitment. This registration will start in July.

The Army says that except for the technical cadre of the medical branch, the recruitment of soldiers in the regular cadre will be available only to those who have completed four years in the Army as Agniveers.

Bharat Bandh on Agnipath:

India remained ineffective but the politics did not stop, now the United Kisan Morcha also jumped, know the condition of the states.

The Bharat Bandh in protest against the Agneepath scheme did not show any effect in any state on Monday.

Road and rail traffic remained partially affected in some places, but at the same time, protests in most of the states appeared to be lessening.

Recently, in view of the vandalism and arson on trains and stations, the railways also took precautions, due to which it had canceled 612 trains.

It is to be noted here that no official information was given by any political party regarding the bandh, nor was any call given by any organization.
