Amarnath Yatra 2021: If the entire Amarnath Yatra is not possible, then limited travel should be allowed.

BJP state president Ravindra Raina said on Monday that Amarnath Yatra should continue this year. If the entire journey is not possible, then a limited journey should be organized.

After the state BJP core group meeting on Monday, he also said that the issue of security of political workers in Kashmir would be taken up with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Director General of Police Dilbag Singh.

Last week, terrorists killed BJP worker and chairman of Tral (Pulwama) Municipal Committee Rakesh Kumar Pandita after entering his friend’s house.

In the situation arising after this terrorist incident, a meeting of BJP core group was held at the party headquarters.

In this, the issue of strengthening the security of the workers of the municipal councils along with the Panchayat representatives, BDC members arose.

After the meeting, Ravindra Raina told reporters that if the entire Amarnath Yatra is not possible, then a limited visit should be made.

On the question of organizing the yatra for at least 15 days, he said that even limited people of the state should be included in the yatra. A strategy should be made for this.

We have raised this issue with the Lt Governor, will meet him again. The 56-day long Amarnath Yatra is to begin from June 28.

At present, there is confusion regarding the organization of the yatra in the circumstances arising out of the corona infection.

A day before the visit, a meeting was held between Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi.

According to party sources, in the meeting of the core group, the situation arising after the killing of Kashmiri Pandits, the feeling of insecurity among the workers was also discussed.

With this it was also decided that senior party leaders would visit Kashmir and encourage the workers there.

Organization General Secretary Ashok Kaul, who returned from Kashmir, has also told about the situation arising out of the attack in Tral.

Raina said that there will be a meeting with the Lieutenant Governor on the safety of the workers. This issue will also be taken up with Home Minister Amit Shah.

In the meeting, a strategy was made on the organization programs to cooperate with the administration in the prevention of corona.

MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Deputy Chief Ministers Dr. Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta, former state president Sat Sharma, general secretary Vibodh Gupta were also present in the meeting
