The search for terrorists is still going on in the Godole forests of Kokernag. A case of fire near the terrorist hideout has also come to light.

Today is the fifth day of the search operation. The security forces have launched a search operation till the neighboring village. Army soldiers are constantly keeping an eye on the hideouts of terrorists.

CRPF jawan shot in leg.

During the operation, a CRPF jawan was accidentally shot in the leg. The injured soldier was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

He was an integral part of the Road Opening Party (ROP) engaged in security operations.

A team of security forces has recovered a burnt body from a cave in Godole area of Kokernag. The body is being identified.

Anantnag Encounter Update: 5th Day of Intensive Search continues for terrorists trapped in the forest.

Lieutenant General Dwivedi also visited the operation site yesterday and took stock of the situation. Jammu Kashmir Police says that two to three terrorists are trapped in the forests.

The security forces have laid siege. Let us tell you that in the encounter with terrorists on Wednesday, the Commanding Officer of 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhaunchak, DSP of JKP Humayun Bhat and a soldier were martyred.

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar has given a strong warning to the enemies of India amid the encounter of security forces with terrorists in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir.

The minister said that if anyone is thinking that he will mess with India and escape, then it is his mistake.

This is new India, it will not be afraid.

Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar posted on X (formerly Twitter) saying that India has many enemies.

These enemies want to stop India from moving forward, but they should know that the Indian Army is now equipped with a modern high-tech and deadly machine.

The minister said that this is New India – India will neither be afraid nor will India retreat.

The minister further said that India has seen many wars and we do not want war, but if anyone goes to war with India then he should know that due to this your children may become orphans.
