Anantnag Grenade Attack: Terrorists attacked security forces in Anantnag, and two civilians were injured.

Two civilians were injured in a grenade attack by terrorists at Sangam on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway in south Kashmir’s Anantnag late on Monday evening.

The security forces have also launched a search operation to nab the terrorists involved in the attack.

According to the information received here, at around 8.30 pm, the terrorists attacked the 136th Corps of CRPF in Sangam with a grenade to blow up the bunker.

Instead of falling on the bunker, the grenade fell on the road some distance from it and exploded with a loud bang. During the blast, two civilians were injured due to the shrapnel from the grenade.

They have been identified as Amir Ahmed Lone and Shakeel Ahmed Lone. Both are residents of Natipora Sangam. Both have been admitted to Medical College Hospital, Anantnag for treatment.

Anantnag Grenade Attack: Chargesheet filed against four overground workers:

State investigation agency SIA on Monday filed a charge sheet against four overground workers of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed in the special court of NIA.

An SIA spokesperson said that an FIR was registered earlier this year on the detection of a module of Jaish-e-Mohammed operating in South Kashmir.

As part of this investigation, raids were also conducted at various places in Srinagar and South Kashmir in February.

In the investigation, it was revealed that Jaish-e-Mohammed is preparing school students and other youths to become terrorists through various means to further their activities in Kashmir.

Some arrests were also made in this connection and during the raids, about half a dozen overground workers of Jaish were also arrested.

Many digital pieces of evidence were also found against them. One of the various handlers of this module lives in Jhelum city of Pakistan, which has been marked.

Soon legal action will also be initiated against him at the international level.

The spokesperson said that the four accused against whom the charge sheet has been filed today used to arrange money, weapons, and hideouts for the terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed.

He also helped them in the attacks. Today a charge sheet has been filed against the four in the Additional Sessions Special Judge, NIA Court, Srinagar so that they can be given harsh punishment as per the law.

Two overground workers of Lashkar arrested: Security forces have claimed to have arrested two overground workers of Lashkar-e-Taiba operating in Budgam.

Two magazines and 54 cartridges of assault rifles have also been recovered from them.

Police spokesman said that the police along with the soldiers of the Army’s 50 RR and 181 Corps of CRPF had conducted an operation in the Karalpora area of ​​Chadoora.

During this operation, Shahnawaz Ahmed Butt, a resident of Karalpora, and Sameer Ahmed Najar of Gund Checkpora were arrested.

Both of them work as overground workers for Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists operating in Budgam, Chadoora, and Srinagar.

Apart from arranging safe havens and money for both the terrorists, they also provided weapons for them.
