Army Commander Arrived On A Tour Of Western Ladakh
Army Commander arrived on a tour of Western Ladakh and took stock of the operational preparedness of Tiger Hill Brigade in Batalik.
Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, visited the Batalik sub-sector of Western Ladakh on Monday to take stock of the operational preparedness of the Army.
Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi visited forward areas in Western Ladakh in Batalik Sector and reviewed operational preparedness.
He inspired Tiger Hill Brigade to excel in all scenarios and emerge victorious.
The Army Commander, during his visit to Tiger Hill Brigade in the Batalik area of Kargil district, knowing the security situation from senior officers, also encouraged the soldiers deployed in the forward areas.
In western Ladakh, the Indian Army is currently taking strict vigil for the security of the Line of Control with Pakistan in difficult conditions.
The army is facing weather challenges along with enemy challenges at Siachen Glacier.
In such a situation, the Army Commander also honored some officers and soldiers serving the country in difficult conditions in western Ladakh for their achievements.
Interacting with the officers and jawans, the Army Commander expressed hope that Tiger Hill Brigade would be successful on every front.
Along with the Brigade Commander, many other senior officers of the army were also present on this occasion.
The Indian Army is currently getting empowered to face the challenges of countries like China and Pakistan in Ladakh. Senior army officers are visiting the area and keeping a close watch on the situation.
In such a situation, Army Chief General Manoj Pandey had left for Delhi on Sunday after wrapping up his two-day visit to Ladakh.
Now Army Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi is monitoring the ongoing operational preparations by visiting the areas under the Northern Command.
In such a situation, before Ladakh, the Army Commander visited the Rajouri district of the Jammu division and inquired about the security situation in the area.
