Army foils major infiltration attempt: This was the fourth infiltration attempt in the Valley in the last three days.

On the night of 23 August, an infiltration attempt was foiled by army personnel at Palanwala in the Akhnoor sector.

The army had tweeted that till that time this was the third incident of infiltration in the last 72 hours.

Earlier, two consecutive infiltration attempts were made in Jhangar and Lam areas on August 21 and 22, in which two terrorists were killed.

Brigadier Kapil Rana, commander of the Army’s 80 Infantry Brigade, had said that a notorious guide of terrorists was also arrested in this incident.

The guide was tasked with leading the group by a senior official of Pakistan’s intelligence agency.

Pakistan in anticipation of the BAT attack in Jammu and Kashmir, security agencies issued an alert.

Seeing the failure of continuous infiltration efforts in Jammu-Kashmir, now the Pakistani Army and ISI are preparing to launch a major attack.

Security agencies have received inputs that Pakistan Army and ISI are planning to attack many places through Border Action Team (BAT). In such a situation, security agencies have issued an alert.

According to the inputs received by the agencies, the Pakistani intelligence agency can do this to divert attention from the ongoing dispute between Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Pakistan Army Chief.

The pressure of many terrorist organizations on the Pakistan Army is also one of the reasons.

According to sources, Pakistan is in the process of carrying out attacks in the Nowshera, Sundar Bani, and Planwala sectors of Jammu and Kashmir.
