Army in Kashmir: Army medical corps dedicated to the health of remote areas, the medical camp is being set up in snowy areas.

Doctors of the Army Medical Corps, nursing staff are working with dedication to provide health facilities to the people facing the icy cold in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

People from remote areas of Kashmir are cut off from the district headquarters due to heavy snowfall. In such a situation, the action is taken by the army to overcome the difficulties faced by them.

Presently, the doctors of the army and members of the medical staff are constantly setting up medical camps with the residents of the health department along with the villagers from remote areas for their livestock.

During these camps, along with checking the health of the people, medicines are also being distributed among them.

In this connection, a team of ten doctors in remote villages of Kashmir, Harwat villages provided medical facilities to 361 people.

During the camp, the health of 177 men, 62 women, and 122 children was checked and doctors also gave them medicines.

From the team of ten doctors, who set up a medical camp, 4 of the army and 6 of the health department participated. During this day-long camp, people were told how they can avoid diseases like blood pressure and diabetes.

During this time, along with treating diseases, the doctors also checked the teeth of the patients and also took action towards their treatment.

At present, people in remote areas of Kashmir are facing the severe cold. In such a situation, the army medical staff has set up additional teams to treat people.

These teams are working closely with the doctors of Kashmir. Being local, the doctors of Kashmir help the army to overcome the difficulties of the people of Kashmir who understand the language.

Jammu Srinagar Highway: Repair work of Banana diversion bridge completed, Bailey bridge being removed, vehicles movement will remain unilateral at present.

The National Highway Authority of India has completed the repair work of the banana diversion bridge located in district Ramban. BRO installed Bailey bridge is being removed.

Currently, only one-way vehicles will be left on the highway for a few days. The movement of vehicles on the highway will continue as usual from Saturday.
