Awantipora Encounter: One terrorist was killed in the Awantipora encounter, security forces killed 8 terrorists in three days.

Security forces are raining havoc on terrorists in the Kashmir Valley. A terrorist has been killed by security forces in an ongoing encounter in Tilwani Mohalla of Awantipora Tral.

This is the sixth encounter between security forces and terrorists in the last three days. Not only this, the security forces have so far killed eight terrorists. Encounter is still going on in Tilwani.

The security forces say that they had asked the terrorists to lay down their arms before starting the retaliatory action, but when they did not agree, they had to start firing.

Firing continues from both sides. Two to three terrorists are feared trapped in the siege.

Internet service has been suspended in the area as a precaution and additional forces have been called in to strengthen the cordon.

According to the information received from the police, on the basis of information received from the sources, a team of SOG, Army, and CRPF reached Tilwani Mohalla of Awantipora Tral and started the search operation.

It was reported that two to three terrorists have entered the locality. As soon as the security forces started a search operation with a siege of the locality.

The terrorists hiding in a house started firing on them.

Before responding, the terrorists were asked to surrender like every time, but when they did not agree, they also started retaliatory firing.

At present, even after killing one terrorist, firing is going on from both sides. The slain terrorist has not been identified.

At the same time, people living nearby were taken to safer places even before the encounter.
