Ban On Watching Rath Yatra From The Rooftop: Jagannath Puri

Ban on watching Rath Yatra from the rooftop, instructions to vacate hotel and lodge in Bardand: Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra 2021.

People will not be able to see the Rath Yatra even from the top of the roof in Jagannath Dham Puri. This information was given by Puri District Collector Samarth Verma on Saturday.

The Collector has said that section 144 will be imposed in Puri city for the Rath Yatra. This rule will be applicable the night before the Rath Yatra and till the afternoon of the next day.

No person will be allowed to watch the Rath Yatra even after staying on the roofs of the houses on either side of Bard and as it is also under curfew.

People will stay inside their homes during the Rath Yatra. The District Collector has said that the hotel, Laj in Bardand, has been directed to vacate two days before the Rath Yatra.

Ban on watching Rath Yatra from the rooftop: People can stay in hotels located in other areas of the city, but people will not be allowed to come out during the curfew.

Puri SP Kunwar Vishal Singh has said that there are more than 200 houses in Burbank. People will not be allowed at any cost to watch the Rath Yatra from the rooftops of these houses.

A police force will be deployed for this. People will be made aware in this regard. Similarly, there are about 41 hotels and lodges in Burdand.

According to the decision, two days before the Rath Yatra, tourists have been asked not to keep or book. Hotels and lodges staying in Burdand will be vacated.

They will be made aware by meeting with the owners of hotels and lodges.

It is worth noting that due to the Corona epidemic, like last year, this year also permission has been given to take out Rath Yatra only in Jagannath Dham Puri in the state.

Rath Yatra will be taken out on July 12 without devotees. The work of chariot construction for the Rath Yatra is going on on a war footing.
