Boris Johnson Refuses To Resign: Boris Johnson said- I will not resign, the reason given behind not leaving the post.

Boris Johnson refused to resign from the post of Prime Minister on Wednesday.

After the resignation of Finance Minister Rishi Sunak, Health Minister Sajid Javid, and two junior ministers, at least 12 more junior ministers resigned from the Boris Johnson government on Wednesday.

There was speculation that Boris Johnson might step down as Prime Minister, but Johnson has categorically refused to step down.

Johnson made it clear that his government would continue even after two senior ministers and other officials submitted their resignations in protest against his leadership.

Johnson vows to keep serving as British leader.

Johnson told lawmakers, ‘When you have been given a huge mandate, it is the job of a prime minister to keep the country running in difficult circumstances and that is what I am going to do.’

“We will go ahead and fulfill the mandate, simultaneously win the next general election,” he said.

The last employee to resign was Environment Minister Joe Churchill, who resigned after Johnson apologized for sexual misconduct allegations against a member of his government.

According to the New York Post, Johnson vowed to continue serving as British leader, despite the resignations of senior and junior staff.

Johnson further said that he would step down only if the government could not move forward.

During the weekly Question Hour in Parliament, MPs attacked Johnson fiercely, but Johnson continued to object to leaving the post of Prime Minister.

After assuming office, Jahavi said, “The current government team is going to work.”

He appealed to the cabinet colleagues to stand by Johnson and committed to strengthening the country’s struggling economy.

It is noteworthy that while sharing the letter sent to Prime Minister Johnson on Twitter, Sunak wrote last day, ‘The public expects that the government will be run in a correct, serious and efficient manner.

Javid said that he had lost faith in Johnson’s ability to govern in the national interest after the scandals that unfolded after another.
