British Driver Louis Hamilton Achieved 92nd Win
British driver Louis Hamilton achieved 92nd win, breaks Michael Schumacher’s record. British driver Louis Hamilton created history in the Formula-1 (F-One) on Sunday by winning the Portugal Grand Prix.
This is the 92nd victory of his career and he has overtaken the legendary German driver Michael Schumacher in the most wins. Hamilton was 25.6 seconds ahead of his fellow Mercedes driver Valteri Bottas.
Max Verstappen of Redbull finished third. Hamilton scored the fastest lap and scored an extra point and now his lead over Bottas to 77 points in the championship table.
Hamilton won the first F1 race in 2007 and won the first title in 2008. He joined Mercedes in 2013 and his career took off from there. He has won five F-One titles and Schumacher has seven wins to his name.
Hamilton started the race with pole positions for a record 97th career, ahead of Bottas and Versatappen on the track being used for the F-1 race for the first time.
Carlos Sainz Jr. of McLaren finished in the race for some time and then Bottas overtook him. Hamilton overtook him in the 20th lap.
Since his debut with McLaren in 2007, Hamilton has won at least one race each season. Since the beginning of the V6 Turbo Hybrid era in 2014, the win has averaged 10 in the year.
He recorded his first win on June 10, 2007, at the Circuit Gilles Villanueva in Montreal, Canada. The 35-year-old racer has been quite successful here. He has recorded seven wins here.
In 2009, he won 10 wins in Hungary. Schumacher is the only driver to have won the same Grand Prix eight times. He did this between 1994 and 2006. Hamilton won 20th in 2012 in Monza and 30th in Japan in 2014.

Mumbai Indians (MI) acting captain Kieron Pollard said the pitch got better in the second innings and the Rajasthan batsmen performed well.
Rajasthan, chasing a target of 196 runs, won in 18.2 overs with eight wickets remaining. Ben Stokes scored an unbeaten 107 and Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten 54 not out.
For Mumbai Indians, James Pattinson took two wickets for 40 runs. Stokes and Samson shared an unbeaten 152-run partnership.
With this win, Rajasthan Royals now have 10 points. The team has fallen to the sixth position in the points table, while Mumbai Indians are still at the top spot with 14 points.
