Case of currency smuggling filed against Swapna Suresh and Sarit PS. The Customs Department has registered a second case against the accused in the Kerala gold smuggling case, Swapna Suresh, and Sarit P.S.

The Customs Department on Saturday presented a report related to the case before the special court in Kochi. According to the report, Swapna Suresh sent the US $ 1,90,000 (about Rs. 140 million) from foreign smuggling from Kerala.

The Customs Department has said in its report that Suresh used his ID card from the UAE consulate to illegally carry money.

The Kerala gold smuggling case is related to the smuggling of gold through diplomatic channels in the state. The matter is being investigated by the National Investigation Agency, Enforcement Directorate, and the Customs Department.
