Caste calculation in Shira by-poll: Candidate TB Jayachandra of Congress, JDS’s Ammajamma, and BJP candidate Dr. MCM Rajesh Gowda belong to the dominant Kunchitigar community.

Caste calculation is taking place at Shira by-election. The Shirazi field is dominated by the Kunchitika Okaliga community. The three parties have fielded the highest voter community.
