CBI Returned To Prayagraj With The Accused Anand Giri

CBI returned to Prayagraj with Anand Giri, laptop and iPhone in possession, after interrogation in Haridwar: Mahant Narendra Giri Death Case.

The CBI team probing the suspicious death of Mahant Narendra Giri, president of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, the apex body of saints, has returned to Prayagraj with Swami Anand Giri.

After getting a seven-day remand on Tuesday, the team went to Haridwar with Anand Giri in the evening itself.

After interrogation and investigation there, the team has returned to Prayagraj. The CBI team has seized Anand Giri’s laptop and iPhone.

The CBI team, which is investigating the suspicious death case of Mahant Narendra Giri, Mahant of Shri Math Baghmbri and President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, has returned to Prayagraj.

A four-member CBI team today returned to Prayagraj on an IndiGo flight carrying Anand Giri on Thursday.

After the flight from Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, the CBI team landed at Bamrauli airport with Anand Giri. After this, Anand Giri was brought directly to the police lines.

The CBI team did not get the DVR from Shyampur Kangri, the ashram of Anand Giri in Haridwar. The CBI has seized the iPhone and laptop of Anand Giri from the ashram there.

Along with this, many other people who knew Anand there were questioned by the team for a long night.

In the case of Mahant’s death, till now the CBI team is being investigated on the point of murder and suicide.

Mahant has accused Anand Giri, Aadhya Prasad Tiwari, and his son Sandeep of harassing himself in the suicide note.

On this basis, the initial investigation started on the angle of suicide, which is being linked closely.

Now the focus of the CBI team is on gathering all the evidence present with Anand Giri, arrested in the case of abetment to suicide, whose strings are related to suicide.

It can contain laptops, iPads as well as some records.
