CDS Expressed Condolences On The Demise Colonel Narendra
CDS expressed condolences on the demise of hero Colonel Narendra ‘Bull’, who saved Siachen, said – name will be recorded in rich military history.
Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat has expressed his condolences on the demise of Siachen rescuer Hero Colonel Narendra ‘Bull’ Kumar.
Condolences on the demise of Colonel Narendra ‘Bull’ Kumar, CDS General Bipin Rawat said that due to the determination of a soldier and the yearning to find the high mountain peaks.
The army was forced to go to those places (Siachen ) Helped to retain possession. CDS General Bipin Rawat said that Colonel Narendra ‘Bull’ had helped strengthen our defensive posture.
Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat further stated that our strong presence on the Saltoro Ridge and in other areas of Ladakh is a part of his adventurous journeys.
General Rawat said that his name will always be recorded in the rich history of our army.
Explain that Colonel Narendra ‘Bull’ Kumar has played an important role in maintaining India’s grip on one of the world’s highest peaks of Siachen Glacier.
His report helped the Indian Army maintain its hold on the Siachen Glacier.
Former Army Colonel Narendra ‘Bull’ took several actions in Siachen before the Indian Army started Operation Meghdoot in 1934 and due to that India was able to retain its hold on Siachen.
Giving information about his death, the Army tweeted, Colonel Bull was a Soldier Mountaineer who will be an inspiration for many generations.
Today he is no more but has left behind him a tale of courage, bravery, and dedication. Born in Rawalpindi in 1933, Colonel Bull received a commission in the Kumaon Regiment in 1953.
Three more of his brothers were in the army. In 1977, Colonel Bull accepted the Pakistani plan to capture the Siachen glacier.
On the basis of his report, the then PM Indira Gandhi allowed the army to run Operation Meghdoot. After this, the army retained the entire Siachen.
India and Pakistan shared a list of nuclear installations and facilities
India and Pakistan today shared a list of nuclear installations and facilities among themselves.
The Foreign Ministry of India has informed that India and Pakistan today exchanged the list of nuclear installations and facilities in New Delhi and Islamabad simultaneously through diplomatic channels.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this process was completed under the Prohibition of Attack against Nuclear Installations and Facilities between India & Pakistan.
