Chetan Chauhan Passes Away: Corona-infected UP cabinet minister and former international cricketer Chetan Chauhan Passes away.  Chetan Chauhan, cabinet minister of Yogi Adityanath government, admitted to Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, died today in a very serious condition due to corona infection.

73-year-old Chetan Chauhan was shifted to Medanta on Saturday from Sanjay Gandhi PGI, Lucknow. He was on life support system there. It is said that his kidney is not working. Cabinet minister Chetan Chauhan in the Yogi Adityanath government was in critical condition.

The kidney of Chetan Chauhan, who was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi PGI for a long time due to Corona infection positive, had stopped working. He has been shifted from Lucknow to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, where he was kept on a life support system.

In 1991 and 1998 elections, he became a BJP ticket MP from Amroha. Chetan Chauhan is currently the MLA of the Naugawa Sadat Assembly in Amroha district.

Together they made 10-century partnerships and scored more than 3 thousand runs. Chetan played in domestic cricket from Delhi and Maharashtra team. He played his first Test match against the New Zealand team on 25 December 1969 and also played his last Test match against the New Zealand team on 13 March 1981.

Chauhan had scored 2084 runs in 40 Tests at an average of 31.57 and took 16 wickets with 2 wickets. His innings of 97 runs was a high score inning. He scored 153 runs and 46 maximums in seven ODIs at an average of 21.85. Chauhan played his first ODI against Pakistan team on October 1, 1978.

The second minister of Yogi Adityanath government

He is the second minister in the Yogi Adityanath government to die due to Corona infection. Earlier on August 2, the state government’s technical education minister Kamal Rani Varun had succumbed to Sanjay Gandhi PGI. Minister Kamalrani already had problems related to diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid.

His oxygen level was significantly reduced. Six ministers of the Yogi Adityanath government are still admitted to Sanjay Gandhi PGI, Lucknow. Along with cabinet minister Brajesh, water power ministers Dr. Mahendra Singh, Rajendra Pratap Singh alias Moti Singh, Upendra Tiwari, Jai Pratap Singh, and Dharam Singh Saini were also corona infected.
