The government has set up an expert committee headed by the National Cyber Security Coordinator to investigate the spying of many Indian nationals, including veteran politicians, celebrities, by Chinese firm Zhenhua data.

This committee will study the reports in the Chinese spy network ‘Zhenhua data leak’ case and assess the violation of the law and submit its report within 30 days. Sources said the expert group will investigate the espionage claims and find out if there is any violation of law in the case.

The government is vigilant on the issue of protecting the personal data of Indian citizens. Sources also said that the Ministry of External Affairs has also taken up the matter of espionage by Chinese company Zhenhua Data Information Technology Company Limited to the Chinese Ambassador.

In this case, China has given a very childish and irresponsible statement. China has said that Xhenhua is a private company and publicly discloses its position before the world. It is worth mentioning that a report said that the Chinese data company has allegedly spied the legendary personalities of India.

According to the report, this company is related to the Chinese government. Chinese companies have been accused of stealing data in the past. In the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, Congress leader KC Venugopal sought to clarify the situation with the central government on the spying of Indians by Chinese companies.
