Portugal’s superstar striker Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick to lead his side to an easy victory in the World Cup qualifiers.

While Denmark registered another victory to seal their place in next year’s tournament in Qatar.

The match between England and Hungary in the European Qualifiers was interrupted by spectators, but it was Ronaldo who scored his 58th career hat-trick for the club and his country in the match at Faroe.

Portugal defeated Luxembourg 5-0 with his charismatic performance. Portugal’s team played with an aggressive strategy from the beginning and it got the advantage in the form of goals.

Ronaldo opened the team’s account in the match by scoring a penalty in the eighth minute.

Portugal again got the penalty and on this too Ronaldo scored in the 13th minute to make the team 2-0.

The Portugal striker did not stop there and five minutes later, Bruno Fernandes, with the help of Silva, scored from inside the box to extend the team’s lead to 3-0.

In the first half, Portugal’s team was ahead 3-0. In the second half, Portugal’s strikers continued their scoring streak.

After scoring in the first half, Bruno Fernandes helped Joao Palinha’s goal in the 69th minute to extend the lead.

In the last minute of the match, in the 87th minute, Nevas passed the ball towards Ronaldo, who completed his hat-trick in the match, making the team’s victory margin 5-0.

Despite this win, Portugal is one point behind Serbia and second in Group A but has played one matchless.

Meanwhile, Denmark became the second country among European nations to qualify for the World Cup. They beat Austria 1–0 in the match played in Copenhagen with Joachim Mehle’s second-half goal.

This is Denmark’s eighth consecutive win to ensure its top spot in Group F. Germany was the first country to qualify from Europe.

Denmark took an unassailable seven-point lead over second-ranked team Scotland.

Clashes between police and supporters:

England also had a chance to qualify but was held to a 1–1 draw by Hungary at Wembley Stadium. At the start of the match, there was a clash between policemen and Hungarian supporters.

Police were trying to oust Hungarian supporters who were making racist comments from the stadium. England is at the top of Group I. They are three points ahead of the second-placed team Poland.

Analyzing FIFA:

FIFA, the apex body of world football, has condemned the behavior of the visitors of Hungary and Albania in two separate matches and said that it is analyzing these incidents to take appropriate action.

The match played between Poland and Albania in Tirana was halted for 20 minutes due to the crowd of spectators.

Karol wider ski scored for Poland in the 77th minute after Albanian visitors threw a bottle at him. The Polish players left the field but made a comeback and won the match 1–0.
