Curfew Relaxed In Jodhpur, 33 Cases Registered

Curfew relaxed in Jodhpur, police guarded; 33 cases registered and 250 arrests till now: Jodhpur Curfew.

After a dispute between two groups at Jalori Gate in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur city on Monday night and violence the next day, the administration had imposed a curfew in ten police station areas.

Gradually, when the situation returned to normal, these police station areas were given relaxation of two hours, then four hours, and on Sundays for eight hours.

Seeing the situation improving rapidly, the administration on Monday granted a relaxation of 12 hours in the curfew. After seven in the morning, the glory returned to the inner city.

The curfew will be implemented again after 7 pm on Monday, which will continue till 7 am on Tuesday.

The administration will now increase the night curfew, there are such possibilities. Which may last a few more days.

Due to the opening of the shops, the faces of the traders shined.

12 hours of relaxation are provided on Mondays. In relaxation, all establishments in the inner city were opened.

Earlier only grocery, dairy, and optical shops were included. With the opening of all types of establishments, there was a smile on the faces of the traders.

There was again a large crowd of people in the inner city. People flocked to shop.

Ten police station areas, part of Udaymandir, Raika Bagh, Raika Bagh station, and roadways were already kept free from the curfew.

In the remaining part too, the movement increased on Monday.

Apart from this, in Sadar Bazar, Nagori Gate, Sadar Kotwali, Khandaphalsa as well as in Sursagar, Pratapnagar, Pratapnagar Sadar, Sardarpura, and Devnagar police station areas of District West, markets were seen buzzing amid a relaxation of curfew for 12 hours.

But in the midst of all this, the police were also guarded. Police personnel was stationed. The residents of the city are now breathing a sigh of relief at the rapidly improving situation.

33 cases registered so far, 250 arrests.

The police have registered 33 cases on the ruckus that lasted for two days. More than 250 people were arrested and 200 people were also released on bail.

So far, more than 30 people have been arrested in cases in the district East and West. Sardarpura police station alone has taken more than 20 people on remand with custody.

The city continues uninterrupted. To prevent untoward incidents, the police force is deployed in the squares and streets.
