Dangerous junction in Puttur: Every day there is an accident. Vehicles coming from Puttur downtown and crossing the State Highway are confused as there is no proper road.

The dangerous junction of Pattur Patrao on the Mani-Mysore State Highway has now become a focal point. Every day there is not one accident, and tens of thousands of lives are victims of accidents.

Due to the unscientific construction of the place, the junction of the Puttur downtown and the state highway is causing confusion.

After the widening and development work of the Mani-Mysore State Highway, Mysore vehicles are now directing the bypass road through Puttur city. This bypass joins the town of Puttur near Patrao Circle.

Even though the road has been widened, it is still the same as it was in the past.

Vehicles coming from Puttur downtown and crossing the State Highway are confused due to lack of proper roadway.

Also, pedestrians are not able to figure out where vehicles are coming from, and a large number of pedestrians are victims of this circle.

Vehicles from Mani and Mysore side pass through Mangalore directly by Bypass and some vehicles pass directly through Puttur downtown.

This is due to the fact that vehicles coming from Puttur are not able to calculate which side of the vehicle is coming from the opposite direction.

Although the road is wide enough, it is the main reason why accidents occur at this junction due to the lack of proper roadways and dividers.

Proper arrangements have to be made immediately at Patrao Junction, which is causing disruption every day. If not, there is no doubt that this junction will get even worse in the coming days.
