In the last 24 hours, more than three lakh 11 thousand new cases of infection have been registered across the country, whereas more than four thousand people have died.

Significantly, in the last several days, a steady increase in the number of infections was being recorded. There has been a decrease in new cases on Saturday.

According to the Union Health Ministry, three lakh 11 thousand 170 new cases of infection have been reported in the last 24 hours, and four thousand 77 people have died.

After the Ministry’s latest figures, a total of 2 crores 46 lakh 84 thousand 77 cases of corona have been reported in the country so far.

However, out of this, 2 crores 7 lakh 95 thousand 335 people have also been cured of corona infection. Active cases of corona are decreasing in India.

At present, there are 36 lakh 18 thousand 458 active cases of corona in the country. The death toll of Corona in the country is 2 lakh 70 thousand 284.

Decline in new cases: New cases in Delhi and Maharashtra decreased .

Less than 40 thousand (34,848) cases were found in Maharashtra for the second consecutive time, but the death toll reached 960.

So far, more than 80 thousand people have lost their lives in the state. Even after a week of lockdown in Kerala, more than 32 thousand new patients have been found and 96 people have lost their lives.

Karnataka (41,664 cases), Tamil Nadu (33,658 cases), and Andhra Pradesh (22,517 cases) also do not see the effect of lockdown and strict restrictions.

6,430 cases have been reported in Delhi, but 337 people have lost their lives. There has been a decrease in new patients (12,513) and dead (281) in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the recovery rate of patients is continuously improving and it has reached 83.83 percent now while the death rate has remained at 1.09 percent for the last few days.

Corona vaccination reached beyond 18 Crores.

Meanwhile, vaccination against the coronavirus continues in the country. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, 18,22,20,164 people have been vaccinated in the country so far.
