DGP Mukul Goyal Expressed Displeasure Over Incidents On Holi

DGP Mukul Goyal expressed displeasure over the incidents during the elections and Holi in UP, said – take a lesson, officials.

Expressing strong displeasure over the incidents that took place during the UP assembly elections and Holi, DGP Mukul Goyal directed the officials to take lessons from them and take full precaution.

DGP and Additional Chief Secretary, Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi reviewed law and order through video conferencing.

Along with reviewing the serious incidents, both the officers were directed to make tight security arrangements on Navratri, Ram Navami, Ramzan, and other important occasions in the coming days.

The DGP has directed to list such people, who were banned in the past and even after that they did wrong.

Asked to take further action against such accused.

At the same time, where the people involved in various incidents had not been restrained in advance, in such cases, it was also directed to fix the accountability of the concerned SHO.

In comparison to the last Holi, this time the officers of the zone and range were instructed to conduct a thorough review regarding some more incidents.

It was said that under his direction, he should ensure the early release of serious incidents and the arrest of the accused.

In the coming days, in order to maintain peace and order during major religious events, the senior officers were also instructed to hold seminars with elite citizens, religious leaders, and office bearers of the peace committee.

So that additional security arrangements can be made at sensitive places.

The DGP said that effective action should be ensured against the mafia.

He also directed to ensure all security arrangements by coordinating with the concerned departments during the UP Board examinations.

He said that during the MLC elections, compliance with the instructions of the Election Commission should be strictly ensured. Instructions were also given to keep a watchful eye on internet media.
