ED raids Anil Deshmukh’s Worli and Nagpur residences: Money Laundering Case.

The Enforcement Directorate has raided the residences of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in Nagpur and Worli on Friday morning.

Let us inform you that a case of money laundering was registered against Anil Deshmukh in connection with the extortion case of 100 crores of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

It is worth noting that former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh wrote a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray accusing former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh of extortion of 100 crores.

It was told in this letter that Anil Deshmukh had asked Sachin Waje to collect 100 crores per month. A case of money laundering was registered against Anil Deshmukh on this allegation.

Let us tell you that the Enforcement Directorate has raided Anil Deshmukh’s residence in the past on charges of money laundering. Earlier on May 25, his residence was also raided by ED.

It is to be known that after Anil Deshmukh was accused of corruption, he had resigned from the post of Home Minister.

Apart from Parambir Singh, Sachin Waje has also accused Anil Deshmukh of illegal recovery.

Sachin Waje had said in his statement that on June 6, 2020, I took my post again but Sharad Pawar was not happy with me and I was asked to suspend me again.

Then Anil Deshmukh had demanded Rs 2 crore from me to convince Sharad Pawar.

Pune’s famous builder Paranjpe brothers in the custody of Mumbai Police; allegation of fraud

Mumbai Police on Thursday registered a case against builders Shrikant Paranjpe, Shashank Paranjpe, and others on charges of cheating and forgery in business.

DCP Manjunath Singe of Mumbai Police told in a press conference on Thursday.

The ’70-year-old woman has registered a case in Vile Parle police station in Mumbai against builders Shrikant Paranjpe, Shashank Paranjpe, and R Patil under sections 406, 420, 464, 467, 468.

The police have arrested them for indulging in forgery in commercial activities. Based on the woman’s complaint, the Mumbai Police brought the Paranjpe brothers from Pune to Mumbai late at night.

DCP Singe said, “The complainant has also named Madhav Paranjpe and Raghavendra Pathak in his complaint.
