ED takes MLA representative Pankaj Mishra on remand for 6 days: Sahebganj tender scam.

MLA representative Pankaj Mishra, arrested during the investigation of illegal mining and Sahebganj tender scam, was produced in a special court of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today.

Regarding the interrogation of Pankaj Mishra, ED sought 7 days remand from the court, but the court allowed 6 days remand.

Please tell that the remand period of Pankaj Mishra will start on July 21 and he will be produced again in the court on July 26. Pankaj Mishra also cited his illness in court.

It was told in the court that Pankaj Mishra has swelling in the pancreas and because of that, he was admitted to the hospital in the past. This information was given by Dalsa’s advocate Ganesh Prasad.

Let us inform you that the ED had arrested Pankaj Mishra on Tuesday after a 9-hour long interrogation.

On Tuesday, his medical test was done at Sadar Hospital late in the evening, after which Pankaj was kept in Kotwali police station on Tuesday night.

In the morning, Pankaj was brought to the ED office and questioned, after which the ED officials took him to the special court and got Pankaj Mishra to be produced.

In the case, ED’s advocate BMP Singh told that the court has allowed a remand of 6 days, which will start on Thursday, July 21.

The advocate told that Pankaj Mishra is being sent to Hotwar jail in judicial custody today.
