According to the information, the police of Chatra district had received information about the gathering of Naxalites in the border area of ​​Najd forest.

According to the information, as soon as the Chatra police reached the spot, the sentry of the Naxalites opened fire. Due to this, the other Naxalites gathered there became alert.

No casualties have been reported in this incident. Later the team of Palamu Police and Jharkhand Jaguar reached the spot.

It is said that taking advantage of the forests and mountains here, the Naxalites had also built a bunker. In this place, indigenous guns were made by installing a mini lathe machine.

According to the intelligence department, the Naxalite commander attack squad was involved in the encounter.

It is known that the attack is included in the top three commanders of TSPC. Its squad consists of 40 to 50 Naxalites equipped with state-of-the-art weapons.

Jharkhand Police has also declared a reward of Rs.10 lakh on this. The security forces engaged in the search operation are said to return to Manatu police station by late at night.
