Security forces have called in additional units of police and army to surround the terrorists. The injured jawan has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police sources said that some people spotted the suspects in the Karyot Kalas area early today. People immediately informed the police about this.

On the basis of the information, the police and army team reached the area and started searching for the terrorists in the forest adjacent to the border.

Seeing the army personnel coming close to them, the terrorists started firing targeting them. During this, a bullet hit the jawan and he was injured.

Meanwhile, a series of firing started between the security forces and the terrorists. Sources say that there could be two to three terrorists in the forest. The firing continues intermittently.

Additional troops have reached the spot to cordon off the terrorists.

The Chamber President said that it is against One Nation One Tax, and such SROs should be withdrawn immediately.
