Encounter In Kashmir: Terrorists Absconding From Encounter Site
Encounter in Kashmir: Terrorists absconding from Pulwama encounter site, two jawans injured, search for terrorists continues. The ongoing encounter between the security forces and the militants in the Marwal area of Pulwama district of South Kashmir has stopped. Sources say that the terrorists have managed to escape from the encounter site by chance.
Two soldiers have also been injured during the encounter. Both the injured have been admitted to the 92 base hospital. Security forces have cordoned off the area and terrorists are being searched. The presence of two to three terrorists is being reported in the area.
An encounter is going on between militants and security forces in the Marwal area of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. Police and security forces are retaliating. It is being told that 2 to 3 terrorists are suspected to be hiding.
On the basis of information on the terrorists hiding, a search operation was carried out by a joint team of army and police, after which the encounter started. Pulwama is the area of Jammu and Kashmir where terror attacks have been taking place, terrorists have been under siege and terrorists have also been killed.
According to information provided by Kashmir Zone Police, security forces were informed about the presence of militants in the Marwal area of Pulwama. As soon as the information was received, the security forces from the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police Force cordoned off the area and started the search operation.
During the search operation, the terrorists started firing bullets, after which firing from both sides continues. There are fears of 2 to 3 terrorists hiding in the area. Earlier on Sunday, there was an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Pulwama for several hours.
Pakistani army fired in the Akhnoor sector
It is to be known that the Pakistani Army opened fire on the villages along the Line of Control in the Planwala area of the Akhnoor sector of the district on Monday afternoon. Construction work of the road was going on under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Chapariyal village of Planwala.
In such a situation, Pakistan started firing shells targeting Chapariyal and the adjoining Mille de Khui area. During this time, two shells fell in Mille de Khui village causing panic.
Workers engaged in road construction in Chapariyal village were in a panic due to falling shells also left work and fled to safe areas. This firing from Pakistan took a few minutes. In such a situation, the army did not respond to this shelling with restraint. There is often a shelling from the Pakistan side targeting the Planwalla area.
In the Kargil war of 1999, Pakistan had continuously fired heavy shelling targeting the village of Chapariyal. In such a situation, the people who settled in this village were forced to leave the house. In such a situation, whenever there is more firepower in the area from Pakistan, people leave their homes and go to safe areas.
