Encounter in Lucknow: Hanuman Pandey alias Rakesh, the accused shooter in the Krishnanand Rai murder case, was killed in an encounter with STF. Work on the zero-tolerance policy of the Yogi Adityanath government of the state against Arapadh and criminals is going on.

In the same sequence, in Lucknow on Sunday, the Uttar Pradesh STF team piled into the encounter of one lakh crook Hanuman Pandey alias Rakesh with Varanasi STAP.

Rakesh Pandey, who was the main accused along with six people including BSP MLA Mukhtar Ansari in the murder of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai from Mohammadabad in Ghazipur in November 2005, was considered to be the sharpshooter of the Mukhtar Ansari gang. Rewards worth one lakh were piled up by police in Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow. STF IG Amitabh Yash has given this information.

Along with Mukhtar Ansari, Hanuman Pandey was also very close to Munna Bajrangi. It is believed that his target was infallible. Along with the AK-47 and AK-56, he was an expert in operating automatic pistols. After the murder of Munna Bajrangi, Rakesh Pandey had now become a big shooter of the Mukhtar Ansari gang.

Several cases have been registered in Ghazipur as well as Prayagraj and Bhadohi against Rakesh Pandey, a resident of Kopaganj in Mau. Hanuman Pandey is facing 12 murder cases while he is accused of killing 15-16 people.

He also came to Sarojninagar in Lucknow with his five comrades to carry out a major crime. The people were caught in STF near Sainik School by Innova, a sticker of India Watch News Channel. Four people present with him in the police encounter managed to escape. Hanuman Pandey, who was injured by a police bullet, was rushed to Lohia Hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

Rapid firing on police, killed in retaliation

The team of Varanasi STF and Lucknow Police was looking for shooter Hanuman aka Rakesh Pandey. Around five o’clock in the morning, at the intersection of Captain Manoj Pandey, a few steps away from Sarojninagar police station, the police hit the car of the accused Hanuman Pandey from behind.

Due to which his car fought on the divider. Four people were seated in the car along with shooter Hanuman Pandey. After getting out of the car, Hanuman Pandey started firing a police car. The police also fired on him in retaliation. Due to which he fell on the spot. Shooter Hanuman Pandey was shot in the chest. He was rushed to the Lohia Hospital. Where he was declared dead.

Close to Mukhtar Ansari and Mafia Munna Bajrangi

Anonymous crook Hanuman aka Rakesh Pandey has a long criminal history. Ten cases against him in Lucknow, including Ghazipur, Prayagraj, Mau, Rae Bareli are registered under serious sections. Rakesh Pandey, a resident of Kopaganj in Mau, was also a co-accused in the murder of contractor Ajay Prakash Singh alias Manna Singh along with Mukhtar Ansari.

Shooter Hanuman Pandey is considered close to Bahubali leader Mukhtar Ansari and mafia Munna Bajrangi. Due to the cases registered against him, Prayagraj and Mau police had also declared the reward on the accused. He had taken the license of Asheli in the name of his wife, he is also named in that case.

STF SSP Sudhir Kumar said that the vicious gangster Hanuman Pandey alias Rokash Pandey was reported to Banaras STF. The search was for the STF Banaras team and the headquarters team. This encounter took place under the leadership of Additional SP Raj Singh.

After coming here, the car collided with his tree, there were five crooks in the car. They fired in which Hanuman Pandey alias Rokash Pandey was shot. The remaining crooks escaped. Rakesh Pandey was declared dead in the hospital.

BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai accused of murder

BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai was murdered in November 2005 from Mohammadabad in Ghazipur. Half a dozen miscreants armed with AK-47s surrounded the MLA’s convoy and fired more than 400 rounds. Seven people including BJP MLA Krishnananda were killed in it.

All acquitted including Mukhtar Ansari in Krishnanand Rai murder case

The special CBI court acquitted all the accused, including MLA Mukhtar Ansari and his MP brother Afzal Ansari, in the murder of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai. Mukhtar Ansari and brother Afzal Ansari along with Sanjeev Maheshwari, Hanuman Pandey alias Rakesh, Ejazul Haque, Ramu Mallah, and Munna Bajrangi were accused in this 2005 murder case.

Krishnanand Rai was elected from Mohammadabad assembly constituency in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. On 29 November 2005, Krishnanand Rai and six of his supporters were killed in an indiscriminate firing from AK-47 in broad daylight. The CBI considered Mukhtar Ansari as the main conspirator in the case. Rai’s body was found to have 21 bullets in the postmortem.
