The latest case is from Latehar: Encounter with Naxalites in Latehar, the police continued to fire for an hour with the CPI Maoists squad in the Java Bar forest of Ghor Naxal-affected Balumath police station area in Latehar district here.
No casualties were reported in this incident. Naxalites escaped into the forest by dodging the police. This is the second-largest Maoist related incident in Latehar district within a week.
