Preparations to bring a bill against cow slaughter in Karnataka intensified, to be discussed in a cabinet meeting today.

In Karnataka, the issue of prohibiting cow slaughter laws has once again been hot.

Now Karnataka minister R.K. Ashoka said that the cow slaughter bill had not been implemented in the state in the last term, but this time this bill will be brought again and passed.

He told that this time he has gone to these states to discuss the model of UP, Gujarat, and MP. At the same time, he said that in this context, a cabinet meeting is to be held today i.e. Monday, in which the subject will be discussed.

According to media reports, state animal husbandry minister Prabhu Chauhan has been on a three-day visit to these states.

He also discussed the subject with the Chief Minister of UP during this period. Explain that this bill has already been announced in the state after the introduction of this bill in the winter season.

Today i.e. from December 7, the anti-cow slaughter bill will be introduced in the winter session of the Legislature in the state.

During this time, keeping in view the safety of cows, it will be clarified that there is a complete ban on the consumption of beef in the state.

Let it be said that this bill has already been passed in many states of the country. There is a provision for imprisonment of three to ten years and fine ranging from three lakh to five lakh against those who violate this law.

Congress opposed this law coming to Karnataka. Senior Congress leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had spoken against this bill, saying that unemployment will increase with the introduction of this bill.

Targeting the state government, he said that if the state government passes this bill, Congress will oppose it and will not allow it to pass.
