The Army foiled a major infiltration bid along the LoC in north Kashmir in the early hours of Friday, killing five foreign terrorists.

A group of terrorists armed with automatic weapons was seen coming towards the Indian side by a team patrolling along the forward side of the LoC in Jamgund at around 1.00 a.m. on Thursday.
At the same time, alerting all the outposts and naka parties nearby, he started monitoring the movements of the terrorists.
As soon as the terrorists entered the Indian border, the jawans challenged them and asked them to surrender.

Confirming the foiling of the infiltration bid along the LoC in Kupwara, Additional Director General of Police, Kashmir Range, Vijay Kumar said that five terrorists have been killed.
He told that all the terrorists killed are foreigners and they may have links with Lashkar or Jaish-e-Mohammed.
The material and documents recovered from them are being examined. Only after that, their names will be known.
