ENG vs PAK: England Beat Pakistan, Captured The Series 4-3

ENG vs PAK: England beat Pakistan on the basis of David Malan’s explosive innings, and captured the series 4-3.

England has won the 7-match T20 series being played between England and Pakistan by 4-3. England defeated Pakistan by 67 runs in the last T20 match played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Pakistan had a target of 210 runs but in the stipulated 20 overs, the team could score only 142 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Batting first after losing the toss, England scored a mammoth 209 runs for the loss of 3 wickets thanks to David Malan’s 78 off 47 balls and finally Harry Brooke’s 46 off 29 balls.

For Pakistan, except Haris Rauf and Mohammad Hasnain, all the bowlers looted a lot of runs. The most expensive bowler was Mohammad Wasim Jr who spent 61 runs in 4 overs.

ENG vs PAK: Babar and Rizwan both failed.

Chasing 210 runs, Pakistan did not have a good start and on the score of only 5 runs, they lost both their openers. Inform batsman Mohammad Rizwan scored 1 and Babar Azam scored 4.

After that Pakistan lost wickets at frequent intervals and in the allotted over, the entire team could score only 142 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

After Jos Buttler’s injury, Moeen Ali led England to win the 7-match series 4-3, winning two consecutive matches. England started the tour with a win.

But after that Pakistan came back and took the lead in the series by registering two consecutive wins but they could not maintain their form till the end and England won the series.

England’s David Malan was awarded the ‘Player of the Match’ while Harry Brooke was awarded the ‘Player of the Series.
