England’s explosive batsman Alex Hales banned for 2 matches, will have to pay a fine of lakhs. The England Cricket Board is known for taking tough decisions.

Just before the 2019 World Cup, wicket-keeper batsman Alex Hales was dropped from the World Cup squad following selection for not the following discipline.

Now it has been decided to ban the team’s explosive batsman Jason Rai from the board for two matches. Not only, apart from facing the match ban, this star player will also have to pay a fine of 2500 pounds.

In an important decision on Tuesday, the England Cricket Board banned team batsman Jason Roy for two international matches for hurting the reputation of the game.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has not disclosed the incident that led to the ban.

It is believed that he did not follow the instructions given by the board and because of this, the officers were angry with Jason.

The Board does not in any way allow any player to play the game according to discipline and rules.

The ECB said that Rai had acknowledged that his conduct was not in the best interests of cricket or had hurt his reputation for cricket, the ECB, and himself.

His ban is for the next two matches, but he has been suspended for 12 months on grounds of good behavior. He has also been fined 2500 pounds (about Rs 2.52 lakh).
