England’s team announced for Test series against West Indies, 8 players including Anderson and Brad have been discharged.

After the humiliating defeat to Australia in the Ashes series, a big change has been made in the England team. Two experienced bowlers of the team have been shown the way out of the team.

Both these players have not been included in the team selected for the three-match Test series to be played against the West Indies.

On Tuesday, the England Cricket Board announced the team selected for the tour.

The 16-man squad to be on tour for the Test series to be played against the West Indies has been announced.

The pair of Anderson and Brad has not been given a place in this team. Wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler has also not been able to make a place in the team.

However, even after Ashes’ defeat, Joe Root has been retained as the captain.

Durham’s opening batsman Alex Lease and Yorkshire pacer Matthew Fischer have been named in the Test squad for the first time.

James Anderson, Dam Bess, Sam Billings, Stuart Broad, Rory Burns, Jos Buttler, Haseeb Hameed, and David Malan have been dropped from the Test squad after the Ashes loss.

All these players were part of the team in last month’s Ashes series in Australia.

Andrew Strauss, interim director of the England Cricket Board, said, ‘I want to say about James Anderson and Stuart Broad that this is not the end for them.

It looks like we have to look at some new bowling skills and it will be important to give extra responsibility to other players who have been part of the team in the past.
