Farooq Said – Digvijay Understood The Feelings Of Kashmiris

Farooq said – Digvijay understood the feelings of Kashmiris.

National Conference President and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah thanked Congress leader Digvijay Singh for his statement regarding Article 370.

Dr. Farooq said that Digvijay Singh has given this statement only after understanding the sentiments of Kashmiris.

He said that when Jammu and Kashmir merged with India, it was done on certain conditions and 370 was one of them. The central government should also consider this.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had promised humanity and democracy on the Kashmir issue, but what happened in 2019 was not democracy.

We are not Pakistani, we are Indian citizens.

Dr. Abdullah said that we are not Pakistani. We are Indian citizens. We are a party in India and when we speak for ourselves, we are labeled as Pakistani agents.

God belongs to us, don’t label Pakistan on us. If they want to win the hearts of Kashmiris, they have to return everything that was snatched from Kashmiris on August 5, 2019.

Digvijay speaking the language of Pakistan: Kavinder Gupta.

BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Kavinder Gupta condemned Digvijay Singh’s statement. He said that Congress leaders are now openly speaking the dialect of Pakistan.

Digvijay Singh’s statement is extremely shameful. Pakistan wants Article 370 to be restored here and Digvijay Singh is also speaking the same language.

Jammu and Kashmir: PDP will stay away from the delimitation process, the party said – they do not have any elected representative.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) made it clear that it would stay away from the delimitation process of Jammu and Kashmir. Because the party has no elected representative at this time.

A party that does not have an MP or other elected representative cannot participate in the delimitation process.

PDP Spokesperson Suhail Bukhari, Additional Spokesperson Najmu Saqib and Dr. Harbakhsh Singh Shunty were interacting with the journalists in Srinagar on Friday.

Meanwhile, party leaders objected to the government’s decision to levy property tax from residents living under the jurisdiction of the Srinagar Cantonment Zone.

On the issue of participation of the Gupkar Alliance in the delimitation process, PDP chief spokesperson Suhail Bukhari said that the parties of Jammu and Kashmir will take this decision at their level.

As far as PDP is concerned, we currently do not have any MPs and MLAs, so we cannot participate in this process. Elected representatives should be involved in this and think about right and wrong.

On the decision to levy property tax from the people living within the purview of the Srinagar Cantonment Board, the PDP leader said that instead of helping the suffering people since 2019.

The government is imposing additional burden and stress on the people. The decision to levy property tax should be quashed.
