The FBI’s cyber division managed to decrypt several of these messages, exposing the group’s plan to carry out an ISIS-style mass shooting during Halloween celebrations.
The complaint also mentions that a minor was involved in online discussions with the accused, though the individual’s identity remains undisclosed. Officials have stated that more arrests could follow as the investigation continues to uncover links to domestic extremist networks.
