FIFA Women U17 World Cup: China gets a place for Football Under-17 World Cup. India is to host the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup this year.

Everyone will be watching this prestigious tournament of FIFA, even before India has organized the World Cup of FIFA’s Under Age Group.

China was included in place of North Korea on Wednesday in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup to be held in India from October 11 to 30. North Korea had decided to withdraw from the tournament.

The AFC (Asian Football Confederation) Women’s Football Committee on October 14 last year decided that if a team withdraws from FIFA competitions.

Its place in the Asian teams will be given to the next highest-ranked team in the respective qualifying competition.

According to the AFC, “The AFC Women’s Football Committee has learned that North Korea will not be able to field its team for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2022 to be held in India and the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2022 to be held in Costa Rica.”

China finished third in the 2019 AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship played in Thailand.

China will represent Asia along with Japan, and hosts India in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022 to be held in India from October 11-30 .’

Australia will represent the AFC along with Japan and South Korea, who finished fourth in the 2019 AFC Under-19 Women’s Championship, at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2022 to be held in Costa Rica from August 10 to 28.

India was to host the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2020 but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
