Flag Hoisting And Bhoomi Pujan Of Holy Chadi Mubarak

Flag hoisting and Bhoomi Pujan of Holy Chadi Mubarak will be held on 24th July: Baba Amarnath Yatra 2021.

Flag hoisting and Bhumi Pujan of Lord Shri Amareshwar’s holy Chadi Mubarak will be held in Pahalgam on the day of Vyas Purnima on 24th July.

According to religious beliefs, the annual pilgrimage to the holy cave of Lord Amareshwar, which is called Amarnath and Baba Barfani’s cave, is the law of pilgrimage beyond Pahalgam from the day of Vyas Purnima.

But this time under the Covid-19 protocol, the yatra has been kept closed for the common devotees, only Chadi Mubarak will leave for the holy cave.

On the morning of Shravan Purnima, Chadi Mubarak will worship Lord Shankar, Maa Parvati, and Shri Ganesh, seated in the form of Icelingam in the holy cave.

Dipendra Giri, the patron of holy stick Mubarak and Mahant of Dashnami Akhara, told that a meeting has been held with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday evening regarding his visit to Shri Amareshwar cave.

He said that we have justified his decision to keep the yatra closed for common devotees under the Covid-19 protocol. This is the right decision taken for the welfare of humanity.

He said that we discussed religious beliefs and the importance of entry and worship of Chadi Mubarak in the holy cave of Lord Amareshwar.

Like last year, due to Coronavirus, the journey of Chadi Mubarak Swami Amarnath will be symbolic this year as well, but all the traditional religious rituals associated with it will be performed.

Mahant Dipendra Giri told that the rituals associated with the traditional and religious commencement of the journey of Chadi Mubarak Swami Amarnath JI, Bhoomi Pujan, Navagraha Puja, and flag hoisting, Ashadh Purnima (Vyas Purnima) at Pahalgaon, was duly completed on 24th July.

After that Chadi Mubarak will return back to Dashnami Akhara in the evening.

He said that Shiva-Shakti Swarupini’s holy chadi Mubarak would be taken to Shankaracharya temple for worship on Amavasya on 8th August and on 9th August, would be taken to the shrine of Maa Sharika Bhavani in Hari Parvat Srinagar.

The rituals of worship and installation of the holy stick will be completed on August 11 at Shri Amareshwar temple located in Dashnami Akhara, Srinagar.

Mahant Dipendra Giri told that only a limited number of sadhus will enter the cave of Lord Amareshwar on August 22 with Chadi Mubarak and the journey will be completed on the same day.
