The number of suppliers is expected to increase by 58 percent in 2021, boosting both the local business ecosystem and livelihoods.

The company recently rebranded its Best Price cash-and-carry business which was acquired from Walmart India in 2020.

Flipkart Wholesale registered a growth of 17 percent in the grocery customer base from January to June 2021 (as compared to the same period last year).

This shows how much grocers are relying on this platform. It is expected that the grocery customer base will increase by 33 percent in July-December 2021 as compared to July-December 2020.

Kirana stores will continue to be the most important segment of Flipkart Wholesale and will provide better products, credit facilities, payment options at attractive prices, and end-to-end services through feet-on-street associates, apps, and cash-and-carry stores.
