Foreign Minister Jaishankar Will Visit Denmark For Two Days

Foreign Minister Jaishankar will go to Denmark for two days, relations will get stronger. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will visit Denmark for two days.

There he will attend the fourth round of the Indo-Danish Joint Commission (JCM) meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod.

The bilateral cooperation under the Green Strategic Partnership will be comprehensively reviewed at the JCM to be held during the visit to Denmark on September 4-5.

This partnership was established during the Digital Summit in September 2020. In Denmark, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar will also meet other dignitaries.

A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said that the visit of the External Affairs Minister will provide an opportunity to review the progress of our bilateral relations with the three Central European countries and to strengthen our multi-faceted relations with the European Union.

It is noteworthy that External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is on an official visit to Slovenia, Croatia, and Denmark from September 2 to 5. In this sequence, they were in Slovenia on 2-3 September.

After this, he went to Croatia on 3rd September and today he is going to Denmark. Slovenia currently presides over the Council of the European Union.

Jaishankar was invited to an informal meeting of foreign affairs ministers of EU member states on 3 September 2021.

During this visit, the External Affairs Minister also participated in a panel discussion on ‘Partnership for Rule-Based Order’ in Slovenia and ‘Partnership for Rule-Based Order’ in Slovenia.
